Job brief
MetroCredit COOP Ltd is recruiting talented and trustworthy Mobile Cashiers for on-the-spot daily cash collection from customers (members). Collecting deposits from clients, registering cash deposits on the mobile platform, creating savings accounts, handling cash payments and receipts and reporting accumulated savings to their Customer Service Officer at the end of each day.

Functional Responsibilities
1. Cash Collection & Transaction Processing
- Collect cash from clients (individuals, SMEs, and large businesses) and deposit it into their accounts daily.
- Handle cash payments and receipts securely and accurately.
- Verify and sign client passbooks daily, ensuring proper authorization on their records.
- Submit daily collection reports of all transactions to the Team Lead.
2. Customer Relationship Management & Portfolio Growth
- Establish and expand the customer portfolio by identifying and acquiring new clients.
- Manage client portfolios by monitoring accounts, maintaining records, and analyzing outstanding receivables.
- Recover issued customer loans through the daily collection scheme.
- Ensure all applicants are informed about the status of their applications within a reasonable timeframe.
- Maintain the confidentiality of customer information and ensure the security of all records.
3. Business Development & Sales
- Source SME owners and other prospects interested in structured savings plans with MetroCredit.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer leads to the Marketing Department.
- Ensure to meet set targets for client acquisition, collections, and savings mobilization.
4. Compliance & Institutional Policies
- Abide by all rules and regulations of MetroCredit COOP Ltd.
- Attend weekly meetings with the Team Lead at MetroCredit’s preferred location for updates and strategy discussions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Minimum GCE A’ Level Certificate / BAC or an equivalent certificate.
- Prior experience in similar role is preferable
- Ability to meet KPIs.
- Pleasant and welcoming personality
- Strong knowledge of the city and environs
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Results driven and customer focused.
- Fluent in English and a working proficiency in French is an add advantage
