Job Brief
To provide efficient and accurate financial services by processing transactions, managing cash handling, and maintaining financial records. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, support risk management, and safeguard customer and institutional financial information. Under the supervision of the Branch manager, you will assist in reporting, reconciliation, and maintaining strong client relationships while upholding confidentiality and security standards.

Functional Responsibilities
1. Transaction Processing & Cash Management
- Conduct routine banking transactions within time limits and established guidelines (cash checks, accept deposits, process withdrawals, and loan payments).
- Manage all daily cash inflows and outflows.
- Receive and process all deposits and withdrawals.
- Handle the cash register, including starting and completing the end-of-day cash count.
- Disburse funds related to operations, money transfers, and customer credit.
- Supply and empty funds as per procedural requirements.
- Verify and process cash orders.
2. Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Assess customer needs and introduce new products and services (credit cards, savings bonds, etc.).
- Make sales referrals, suggest alternate banking channels, and cross-sell financial products.
- Go the extra mile to build trust, customer loyalty, and satisfaction.
- Resolve customer issues and provide relevant information.
3. Risk Management & Compliance
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent activities to prevent losses.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies.
4. Financial Reporting & Record-Keeping
- Ensure all daily account balances are accurate.
- File and record all daily operations, including money transfers and key financial transactions, into the system.
- Maintain copies of transaction records for accounting purposes.
- Register and track disbursement of loans, commission receipts, and repayment schedules.
- Record and manage other cash-related operations, such as payments for branch equipment.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- A Degree or HND in Management/Accounting/Banking/Finance/Commerce/Marketing/Insurance; and a good knowledge on customer relationship and commercial aptitudes.
- At least 06 months in an enterprise as teller;
- An experience in the finance sector or insurance will be an added advantage;
- Must have interpersonal skills with client;
- Vigor, sense of organization and a high capacity to adapt;
- Knowledge of the application Orbit or any other banking application;
- Mastery of computer tools;
- Mastery of English and/or French (the second language will be an added value).
- Good knowledge in the micro, small and medium enterprises sectors in Cameroon.
